Education
The Junior Police Academy exposes recruits to many aspects of the public safety community. Professionals from different agencies will educate recruits on current topics and trends. Recruits will gradute with a well rounded understanding of many careers within public safety.
Discipline
A career in public safety requires a strict level of attention and discipline. Recruits will be taught in a similar fashion to a traditional police academy class preparing them for their future public safety endeavors.
Experience
While education and discipline are paramount to our mission, recruits will graduate with new knowledge, new friends, and an experience to last a lifetime.

ABOUT US
The Morris County Park Police will be holding the 17th annual Junior Police Academy from July 6, 2020 through July 10, 2020. This year's Academy will be held at the Morris County Public Safety Building, located at 500 West Hanover Ave, Parsippany, NJ. Enrollment for the Academy will be restricted to 40 recruits.
Our objective is a week full of education, discipline, and experience in a Police Academy setting. The week long agenda will include multiple presentations from various public safety agencies. During this five-day program, activities include physical training, classroom activities, marching drills, detective work, special guest presentations, defensive tactics, two class trips to Morris County Correctional Facility and the Morris County Juvenile Detention Center, and much more!
